I’m an international historian focusing on the entangled histories of Russia, Japan, and the United States. My current position is DPAA Research Partner Fellow at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I also lead the oral history project “U.S.-Russian Relations under Bush and Putin” at Southern Methodist University’s Center for Presidential History. My book, under contract with Oxford University Press, examines the U.S. and Japanese intervention in the Russian Civil War from 1918 to 1922.
